Pacific Gas and Electric Company has begun work on upgrading the City of Red Bluff's gas pipeline system.
The project, which costs more than $860,000, is taking place in the area of Douglas, Lincoln, Hickory and Franklin Streets.
Work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should watch for one-way traffic controls and detours.
Some customers will also experience a brief interruption in gas service. Any impacted customers will be contacted by PG&E directly.
