PG&E is anticipating a fair number of outages during this storm. You may notice them putting in extra efforts to ensure your safety.

In addition to contracting tree service companies to prune trees away from high voltage wires, PG&E is making sure to have extra crews on hand around the clock.

In case of an outage in your area PG&E is warning residents to have flashlights with extra batteries, unplug any appliances, and avoid using candles as this is a fire hazard.

If you have an outage you can report it to their power outage line: 1-800-743-5002.

You can get outage updates and response times with your smart phone using their outage map.

If you see any fallen power lines be extremely cautious, stay away from the line and call 9-1-1 immediately.
