We first told you about the Martha Stewart "American Made" competition last week, when a letter press company shined the spotlight on Chico.
Well it turns out Martha chose 2 north state finalists...
Pedrozo Dairy and Cheese company in Orland is bringing national recognition to Orland.
They are one of 26 finalists for the 2015 American Made Awards, in the 'Agriculture and Sustainability' category.
Only a hand full of dairy companies throughout the state boast farmstead cheese operations, and theirs is one of them.
The family run company not only hand makes their cheese, it's made from raw milk produced from cows on their farm.
In tune with the competition that celebrates not only the local, but the hand crafted, the Pedrozo Dairy and Cheese Company is sure to be a front runner.
You can still vote up to 6 times per day, through October 19th.
