A pedestrian is recovering in the hospital Thursday after he was struck by multiple vehicles in Redding.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, police arrived to the area of Victor Avenue and Conifer Way, where they found a pedestrian in the roadway.
Police say a 16-year-old driver from Redding was unable to avoid the man, hitting him and rolling over him.
A second vehicle, driven by a 48-year-old Redding man who was travelling in a car behind the 16-year-old, also struck the pedestrian.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but there's no word on the extent of his injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
