Starting February 7th, the Patrick Ranch Museum south of Chico will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Glennwood Farm House will be open for tours and each month it will be decorated with a different theme. The cost is $5 to take a tour. The Country Gift store will also be open. It's located in the visitors Center
New this season is a series of workshops scheduled to run on the first Saturday of each month. This coming Saturday, February 7th, a free "Honey Bee Mine" Family workshop is planned from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. It will feature an educational bee exhibit and some fun Valentine's Day crafts. There is also a "Wet Felting" Class offered that day from 9 a.m. - noon. Pre-registration is required for the class.
"Leaping Frogs" is the focus of the workshop on March 7th, and April 4th marks a "Spring Celebration" at the Ranch, where you can make Easter bonnets and egg crafts while visiting with the animals.
