Paradise Toddler Found

The Butte County District Attorney's office is looking into a disturbing case out of Paradise. A little three year-old girl named Faith, was found alone on the side of the road. She was discovered by an alert driver on Saturday around nine a-m on Clark Road. She was naked and had several cuts on her body. The driver, a father of two girls himself, approached the girl and called the Butte County Sheriff's office. Deputies located the child's mother, Tami Donnelson, in a home about a mile away.
Her friends tell Action News, the woman fell asleep and the child wandered out of the house. We are told the child had previously been in the custody of child protective services. Family members tell us she is now with her foster family.
We just got off the phone with Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey. He did confirm his office now has the case. Ramsey told me he just received the sheriff's report and is looking into it. We will continue to follow this story and bring you more information when it becomes available.
