A Paradise man, described as a predator of young girls by local law enforcement, has been sentenced by a Butte County Superior Court judge.

Jordan Kirby, 29, Paradise, already was sentenced earlier this month in federal court to 29 years in prison.

Kirby got the same sentence in Butte County for soliciting sex thru Facebook and molesting two teenage girls.

According to the press release, between April 2012 and May 2013, Kirby used at least two online identities on Facebook to solicit the girls for sexually explicit photographs, often claiming he was an agent for modeling agency. He would offer girls thousands of dollars for photographs of them in their underwear, or bikinis.

Investigators say Kirby would then use the pictures to extort or attempt to extort sex acts from the victims.

“Jordan Kirby preyed on young girls and took advantage of them in one of the worst ways possible,” District Attorney Mike Ramsey said in a press release.

Kirby will serve his time in federal prison.
