A Paradise man charged with a felony count of manufacturing butane honey oil pleaded no contest this week, according to the Butte County District Attorney’s Office.

Donald Heuer, 34, was arrested in June at his home on Bennett Road, when officers discovered a large illegal drug manufacturing operation.

During a search, drug agents found crates of butane cylinders, vacuum ovens, marijuana plants, and hundreds of pounds of marijuana.

Heuer, who has also been charged with misdemeanor DUI in an unrelated incident, faces seven years in prison when he is sentenced on September 2.
