A man wanted for violating parole was arrested on charges of burglarizing the Paradise Elks Lodge Friday night.

Police responding to a burglary alarm found 37 year old James Lee Stadler, a transient, hiding in an alcove outside the lodge. Officers say he was wearing dark clothing and had burglary tools, in addition to a credit card machine stolen from the Elks Lodge.

Stadler ... who has an extensive criminal history ... allegedly pried open a window to gain access to the building.

He's now in jail facing a number of felony charges.
