Chico is welcoming a new member to its family of dining options.
Panera Bread will open its first location in Chico Jan. 18. The location will feature a drive-thru which operators believe will be a sure convenience for guests.
The café will opens its doors at 6 a.m. Monday. Early bird guests can receive Panera travel mugs and a certificate for free coffee.
“Our concept has been embraced by many surrounding communities over the past ten years, and we look forward to sharing our signature Panera warmth here in Chico,” said Steve Haydu, Director of Operations for Panera Bread.
For those on the go, the entire Panera Bread menu will be available to order through the bakery-cafe’s drive-thru window during regular business hours.
Panera will also offer phone and online orders that can be placed up to five days in advance.
