(UPDATE) 5:07 p.m.- (AP) - Family spokeswoman: Pa. girl's double-lung transplant surgery successful.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A spokeswoman for a Pennsylvania family whose 10-year-old daughter is undergoing a double-lung transplant says the procedure is going well but is not done yet.
Maureen Garrity said Sarah Murnaghan (MUR'-nuh-han) was "doing beautifully" so far in the procedure which began just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Such operations can take at least six hours, if not longer.
Sarah suffers from severe cystic fibrosis. The family received word of the donor lungs Tuesday night.
No other details about the donor are known, including whether they came through the regular donor system or through public appeals.
Murnaghan's health was deteriorating when a judge intervened last week, giving her a chance at the much larger list of organs from adult donors.
