The Humboldt County Drug Task Force and members from the Eureka Police Department served two warrants over two days that resulted in the seizure of more than 220 pounds of processed marijuana, estimated to have a value of at least $229,000.00.
The first warrant was served on Tuesday at approximately 2:00 p.m. at three residences located in the 4900 block of Old State Highway, Alton. During the search 220 pounds of processed marijuana was located along with $17,000.00 cash.
One adult female, 28-year-old Shinael Wolf-Kelly was taken into custody for possession of Marijuana for the purpose of sales. Wolf-Kelly was booked and released from the jail later that evening.
Another warrant, related to the previous case was served yesterday on a residence at the end of Lee Lane, Humboldt Hill at approximately 1:00 p.m. Two adult males were located in the residence along with the same female, Shinael Wolf-Kelly and her children. Officers found evidence of a dismantled indoor growing operation in the garage of the residence and over $15,000 cash hidden in the master bedroom.
Wolf-Kelly and one adult male were again interviewed and released at the scene. Jonah Greenfield, 31, was taken into custody and charged with possession of Marijuana for the purpose of sales.
The case is still being investigated by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force.
