The Annual Wildflower and Nature Festival returns to Riverbend Park in Oroville for the ninth year Saturday, April 2nd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hosted by the Feather River Recreation and Parks District, the day features something for just about everyone.
There will be a Play Structure Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10 a.m., with Children's Games and Crafts all day , Music, Painting, 90 vendors selling natural and handmade items, as well as food vendors and a beer/wine tasting garden.
The event itself is free, but if you want to take one of two Tours of the Table Mountain Wildflowers a bus ticket will cost you $10. They can be purchased the day of the event and departure times are 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
And if you're interested in a Feather River Kayak Ride provided by Forebay Aquatics, tickets are $20 and buses will depart at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
New this year is "Barks and Recreation" ... a pet expo featuring vendors, dog obedience demonstrations and a K-9 Costume Contest at 1:00 p.m. Register for it at the "Salmon Pavilion" by 12:30 p.m.
