The Oroville Police Department will be holding an open house of suspected stolen property.

The open house is specifically for victims of burglaries at I-Storage on 4th Street and Extra Storage on Olive Highway in Oroville. Since late Dec. 2015, The Oroville Police Department received multiple burglary reports from tenants at the two storage locations.

Detectives learned that 47-year-old Tamara Kee was suspected of burglarizing several of the units. An officer made a traffic stop contacting Kee Feb. 5 while her husband Michael Balmer was contacted nearby with a U-Haul full of property.

Both were arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property. After searching storage units rented by the couple, and their residence numerous items of suspected stolen property were recovered.

The open house will take place tomorrow and Thursday at the Oroville Municipal Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
