Oroville police say they got a call just after midnight Saturday morning that there had been a collision at Linden Avenue behind Oroville High School. One of the buildings of the high schools was damaged, but the car that ran into it was gone. A short time later, there was another hit and run on Mitchell Avenue. Investigators say the driver attempted to make a u-turn, ran over a curb and down an embankment, nearly running into an apartment complex. They say the driver, Ashely Morris, 23, then fled the scene on foot. Her sister Alicia was found lying on the ground with injuries, and was rushed to the hospital. Ashley was booked into Butte County Jail on charges of DUI/Hit & RUN causing injury and property damage.
