Agents with the Alcoholic Beverage Control and the Oroville Police Department cited 6 store clerks for selling alcohol to minors earlier this week.
On Tuesday an undercover agent under 21 went into stores and tried to buy alcohol as part of a compliance check by the ABC agents and Oroville police.
The undercover agents, don't carry proof of their age. Store clerks are expected to ask for identification from people buying alcohol.
The store clerks who sold to the minor face a minimum fine of $250 and/ 24-32 hours of community service. ABC also plans to take administrative action against the alcoholic beverage license of the business that sold the alcohol to a minor.
