Oroville Police say a karate student placed a camera in a unisex bathroom at Feather River Recreation & Activity Center, recording three people using the restroom. Investigators say March 30th, another boy was using the restroom when he noticed a blinking light from under the sink at the center, located at 1875 Feather River Boulevard. Employees notified Oroville Police, who found the camera taped to the bottom of the sink. They say, with the help of employees, they were able to identify the boy, 13, recording himself as he set the camera in place. According to the center's manager, parents were notified immediately. Oroville Police say three victims were seen using the restroom, including a young boy and a girl, 17. One other person has not been identified. The student was arrested the day after the investigation was launched, and the case has been handed over the Butte County Juvenile Probation. The suspect will not be identified, as he is a minor.
