An Oroville man has been arrested after he was identified as a suspect in a September bar shooting.
On Wednesday, Butte County sheriff’s detectives searched the home of Michael Troy McDonald following a tip that he was the person who fired gunshots outside of the Foothill Lounge on August 29.
While searching McDonald’s home authorities found a numerous assault rifles, most of which are illegal in California, according to the Butte County Sheriff’s Department.
McDonald was arrested on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm and possessing an illegal assault rifle.
