Oroville man arrested after allegedly breaking into elementary school

An Oroville man is back behind bars for allegedly breaking into an area elementary school. Oroville Police say officers were dispatched to Nelson Avenue School on Sixth Street at around 4:15 Wednesday morning after an alarm at the school went off. When officers arrived, they found Andrew Arrieta, 25, running from the school. Officers detained Arrieta and found evidence that he has forced his way inside a classroom. He was taken into custody . Arrieta, who is on felony probation, was just released from jail on September 26th and is also suspected in another burglary at the same school in August. He is back in the Butte County Jail without bail.
