Oroville House Fire Leaves a Large Family Homeless

A family of 12 in Oroville is left homeless after a fire destroyed their home. According to Cal Fire it happened Saturday night around eight. The fire started in a shed located on Crest Drive then spread to a nearby residence destroying the home. One of the residents in the home suffered severe burns and was air lifted to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. No word yet on the resident's condition. The estimated damage to the house is $100,000. Red Cross was called to help assist the family. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
