Oroville couple arrested after children found in drug house

Two parents were arrested in Oroville Thursday morning on suspicion of felony child endangerment after authorities found their two children living in drug house.

Oroville police officers and Butte County drug agents served a search warrant at a home in the 1600 block of 5th Avenue just after 7:15 a.m.

Police say 44-year-old Corrina Delapaz and 38-year-old Jesse Sanchez living in the home with their two children, ages six and seven.

A search of the home revealed loaded guns, marijuana, psychotropic mushrooms and drug paraphernalia.

Delapaz and Sanchez were both booked into the Butte County Jail and the two children were turned over to CPS.
