Authorities have identified the young man killed last night in a rollover accident in Butte County.
Authorities say the driver, 22-year old Aaron Murray of Montague, was still trapped inside the mangled Chevy pick-up when they arrived and he died at the scene.
The accident happened on highway 70 south of Oroville, between Ophir and Palermo Roads about 9:15 last night.
According to the C-H-P, the driver of the pick-up lost control when trying to pass a Kia Sorento and ended up in a field on the west side of the highway.
The passenger in the pick-up, 22-year old Dustin Harper, sustained minor injuries.
Noone in the Kia was injured.
Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
