Orland Police Looking For Suspect In Liquor Store Armed Robbery

The Orland Police Department are looking for the suspect who robbed the Discount Liquor, at about 6:51p.m. on Monday night located on 160 E. Walker Street.

The male walked up to the counter while two customers where shopping during the time of the robbery, Orland Police Chief JC Tolle said. The suspect demanded money and stated to the cashier behind the counter he was armed with a black handgun.

While officers were reviewing surveillance video of the robbery, they noticed the suspect didn’t pull out his weapon to the clerk, he said.

Police are describing the suspect as a male approximately 5’7 wearing blue jeans, black jacket, white gloves, wearing a hood and a mask.

Police are still investigating how much money the robber took off with.
