An Orland man was arrested and his two sons were taken by Child Protective Services after authorities reportedly found methamphetamine, marijuana and a butane honey oil lab in his home Thursday.

Probation Officers conducted a compliance check around 10:45 a.m. Thursday at a home on County Road 200 in Orland. Once inside the home, officers found 44-year-old Jimmy Ray Hutsell to be in violation of his parole and requested help from the Glenn County drug agents.

Once inside the home, GLINTF agents found methamphetamine, a glass smoking pipe, marijuana, and items associated in the manufacturing of butane honey oil. All of the drugs and paraphernalia were within feet of Hutsell's juvenile sons.

Agents say the residence was in complete disarray and not suitable for children. Hutsell's sons, ages 14 and 15 were removed from the residence by CPS officials.

Hutsell was booked into the Glenn County Jail on child endangerment, manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail is set at $105,000.
