Orland home burglaries related, deputies say

Glenn County sheriff's deputies say they suspect that two home burglaries in Orland Tuesday are related.

In the first of the burglaries, the suspect or suspects reportedly broke into a home on County Road 21 through a kitchen window and stole two jewelry boxes, the contents of which are valued at $500.

The second burglary occurred at 4130 County Road KK. The suspect or suspects reportedly stole $6,000 worth of jewelry and a silver dollar coin from 1851.

Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to contact the Glenn County Sheriff's Department.
