Orland High School vandalized, suspects arrested

Orland Police Department arrested two juveniles for allegedly vandalizing a local high school.

Investigators say Orland High School has been the target of vandalism since November 2013.

Vandals broke into the school campus and started small fires inside the buildings causing damages to the cafeteria and concession stand.

Police say vandalism damage is estimated to be 1,800 dollars.

Orland Unified School District will be pressing charges according to Orland Police Chief JC Tolle.

A 12-year old and 13-year old were booked into Glenn County Juvenile Hall, Monday morning after one of the suspects confessed to committing the vandalism.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more people could be arrested in the coming weeks.
