A new, but familiar face is once again the man in charge in Orland.

Orland City Council Members unanimously chose Bruce Roundy for Mayor Monday night. Roundy has been a member of the Orland Coty Council since 2008, and served as the city’s mayor in 2009.

He succeeds Jim Paschall, who has been at the helm for the last two years.

“I look forward to tackling the many important issues we will be working in the coming year. It is an honor to serve thus city, this community, “ Roundy said in a prepared statement.

Roundy is a retired Orland High School teacher and sports coach and serves on the Glenn County Conservation District Board of Directors.
