The Avenue of lights returns to the Glenn County Fairgrounds in Orland December 16th through December 20th.

The display of Christmas Lights is estimated to be about a mile long, and takes up to 40 minutes to drive through.

The cost is $12 a carload, and it's a benefit for the Orland Historical Society. At the end of the route you can visit the "North Pole Lodge" with decorated Christmas trees, refreshments for sale and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The light show is made possible with help from volunteers, staff at the Glenn County Fairgrounds and the Salt Creek Conservation Camp. This year sound system improvement were installed, thanks to a grant.

The Glenn County Fairgrounds is located at 221 E. Yolo Street in Orland.
