The 6th Street Center for Youth has an open house this week ... providing the chance to learn more about the program, tour the building and see and hear some of the music and art created by local teens.
The Center serves more than 300 homeless youth each year, working to improve their quality of life, connect them with resources and services, and when possible ... reunite them with their families.
The youth artwork will be on display Thursday November 14th and Friday November 15th from 3 to 8 p.m.
A reception is planned Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ... with music, poetry and story telling by youth. There will also be a fundraising raffle.
