Officials Prepare for Clean Up; Power Still Out For Some Paradise Residents

The Butte County Coroner has released the names of the two people who died after high gusty winds knocked down several trees over in Paradise.
Margie Johnson, 79, from Paradise was killed at Elliot Road and Bettencourt lane after a large tree fell on her vehicle, according to police. Butte County Sheriff's deputies responded to a tree into a home on Lofty Lane and found Christian Struve, 29 from Paradise who had succumbed to his injuries.
The Town of Paradise and police were in dated with calls from residents reporting road blockage because of fallen trees and downed power lines.
The National Weather Service reported wind gusts above 60 mph, Cal Fire Scott McLane told Action News Now they received more than 80 calls for service Tuesday morning.
PG&E officials reported more than 10,000 customers without power Tuesday, power has been restored for all customers except about 90 customers are still without power in the Paradise and eastern Butte County areas, power restoration is expected Wednesday afternoon.
Officials have called in the conservation corps to help with the removal of fallen trees that will begin on Monday.
