Obama, first lady thinking about life after White House

WASHINGTON (AP) - Now that President Barack Obama's library is set for Chicago, there's one less item on the Obamas' post-White House to-do list.

What else?

Where will the Obama family live?

Obama still owns a house in Chicago. He spends Christmas in his native Hawaii, but don't expect him to settle there.

The president and first lady Michelle Obama are likely to be sought-after speakers. And publishers probably would pay millions for their memoirs.

Obama has talked about returning to teaching and to the community organizing work he did before politics.

Michelle Obama plans to stay engaged with efforts to reduce childhood obesity, help veterans, encourage students to attend college or technical school, and educate girls.
