North State voting guide

Tomorrow is election day in the North State and around the nation and if you haven’t already voted or mailed in your ballot, here is what you need to know.

On Tuesday the polls open at 7:00 a.m. statewide and close at 8:00 p.m.

In Butte County your polling place can be found on the back of your sample ballot, by visiting, or by calling the clerk-recorder’s office at 538-7761.

Butte County mail-in-ballots that were not sent in can be dropped off at any polling place before 8:00 p.m.

In Shasta County voters should visit the Shasta County elections website at or call 225-5730 to find polling locations. Shasta County voters who have filled out mailed ballots can drop them at one of four drop boxes in Redding, Anderson and Shasta Lake., the locations of these drop boxes can be found on the Shasta County elections website.

Tehama County polling locations can be found by visiting or calling 527-8190.

Glenn County polling places and election information can be found on the county’s website or by calling 934-6414.
