North State Symphony presents "Melodic Attraction"

The North State Symphony returns to the stage in Redding and Chico Saturday, February 27th and Sunday, February 28th.

Music Director and Conductor Scott Seaton heads up the Symphony for "Melodic Attraction" with guest solo violinist Andrew Sords.

The performance will showcase melodies that Seaton calls "timeless, moving and impressive".

It includes Mozart's overture to the opera "The Magic Flute, followed by the "Violin Concerto" by Jean Sibelius and the "Second Symphony" by Johannes Brahms.

Seaton will lead an informational talk in each city one hour before the concert. The talks are free to ticket-holders.

The Redding performance is Saturday evening at the Cascade Theatre and the Sunday performance is a matinee at CSUC's Laxson Auditorium.
