Homes in Chico and Redding continue to gain value, according to new data released Tuesday by Corelogic.
The data shows home prices in Chico and Redding have risen by about 6 percent over the past 12 months.
The median price of a home in Chico now stands about $288,000, while in Redding the median price is now at $233,000.
Nationally, Corelogic says home prices have increased by about 7 percent over the same period.
As for the next 12 months, experts are predicting a slight slowdown in price pressure with home prices increasing about 4 percent on average.
