Gas prices are down for the 16th week in a row, according to a Lundberg survey.
Since peaking in May prices have gone down 46 cents per gallon. Slow global economic growth has hurt the oil market, but has been good for refiners buying the crude oil.
Prices are down 12 cents in the last 3 weeks and experts predict prices to drop at least another 10 cents in the near future.
On average a gallon of gas in Butte, Glenn and Tehama counties ranges from $3.45 to $3.48 and the average in Shasta County is $3.59 a gallon.
The national average is $3.26 a gallon.
