North State Food Bank to receive $5,000 from Lindsay Olives

Lindsay Olives, a Lafayette-based olive producer, will present Adam Kingsley and the North State Food Bank with a donation of $5,000 at noon tomorrow.

Lindsay Olives, one of the largest table olive producers in the state, is giving the food bank the check to help its efforts in fighting hunger and giving back to north state communities. Lindsay Olives also plans of organizing volunteer groups throughout 2014 to support food banks in an ongoing effort to spur positive changes in communities.

The check will be presented at 370 Ryan Ave., Suite 124, in Chico.

The North State Food Bank is a program of the Community Action Agency of Butte County, Inc., which services Butte, Glenn, Colusa, Plumas and Sierra Counties. The food bank works in collaboration with Feeding America, the country’s leading charity in domestic hunger relief.
