As of 8:15 this Monday morning, firefighters continue to battle the hundreds of fires burning in the North State. There are 130 fires burning in Shasta County.
Currently, the following areas near Shingletown are under precautionary evacuations: Kirkman Road off Highway 44 near Bear Creek and Donkey Mine Road. There is a mandatory evacuation for residents living in Woodridge Estates.
Road Closures include Shingletown Ridge Road at Highway 44, Marshall Drive, Woodridge Drive, Mobile Park Drive and Lake Ridge Drive. There are 27 fires now burning within Butte County as the result of lightning strikes Saturday afternoon.
Currently the fires are at 5 percent containment overall in Butte County with a control date set for July 1st at 6 p.m. Highway 70 at Pulga in Butte county is currently closed.
An immediate threat evacuation advisory is in place for the Hoffman Road area near Concow. The Empire Fire is on the north side of that community. Precautionary evacuations remain in effect in Camelot.
Red Cross has opened an evacuation center at the Springs Valley School on the corner of Highway 70 and Pentz Road. The Rim fire is now about 100 acres. Also, another fire is burning to the east side of Paradise Pines. The fire is on the east side of the west branch of the Feather River Drainage.
Currently there are no evacuations in the Paradise Pines area.
