Our weather will quiet down a bit this weekend, but no big warm up is in sight... We'll continue with near average temperatures!
It was a bit unsettled around the North State on Friday, with showers in the Sierra Nevada, and a few showers and afternoon thunderstorms on the far west side of the Valley. Low pressure in Nevada is causing most of this, and will be moving east overnight. By Saturday, the Valley will enjoy just partly cloudy skies and dry weather, while there will still be enough lingering moisture in the mountains to kick up an isolated shower or two in the afternoon... but much less than the past couple of days.
We can expect little change in the next week. Temperatures will remain near average (for this time of year), and the Valley will continue to see scattered afternoon showers. The Valley should remain dry, with partly cloudy skies. Pretty nice for May!
