It was a nice way to start our day with a little rain around the North State... although amounts in the Valley weren't too impressive, and most areas stayed under 0.10". The mountains faired a bit better, with most of the Sierra reporting between 1/3" and 2/3" of rain, and Mt. Shasta City reported 1.34"!
But that storm has moved east, and now we'll see a mix of sun and clouds through the weekend. A weak storm will approach the coast Friday, bringing showers to the Coast Range, Siskiyous and perhaps around Redding... but dry elsewhere. Dry and comfortable this weekend.
Another storm will approach us early next week, although models are backing off on it's strength lately. Still, it looks like it could deliver a few showers along with cooler temperatures.
