Another beautiful day in the Valley, and another unsettled day in the mountains on Monday. Looks like we'll continue doing this all week long!
We've had a dip in the jet stream over California lately, and that's brought us slightly cooler than normal temperatures and afternoon mountain showers. Not much change is coming our way through the rest of the week, so we can expect more of the same! The Valley should stay dry, but the mountains will continue to see afternoon showers (and maybe an isolated thunderstorm) pop up, providing beneficial rain up there. We'll continue to enjoy wonderful temperatures in the Valley through the week.
High pressure will try to return this weekend, but it won't be a very strong ridge. As a result, temperatures will warm this weekend, but not oppresively so. Our weather over the next week still looks very nice, even through Memorial Day!
