Cool, cloudy and occasionally wet on this first day of October! We'll warm back up nicely tomorrow... but cool back down this weekend!
An early Fall storm moved through the North State Thursday, and brought us a little rain... although Valley amounts stayed under .10". This storm will move east overnight, and the sun will shine Friday. With the help of a breezy north wind, Valley highs will warm back up to near 90! But it won't last. A new storm currently near the Alaskan panhandle will drop southward into northern California on Saturday. That will cool us back down, and bring us partly cloudy skies. There's a chance of a mountain thunderstorm, but with the air in the Valley getting dried out in the next couple of days (thanks to the gusty north wind), I think we'll be too dry to see any of that activity make it down here.
Most of next looks to see the nice weather continue... partly cloudy, with Valley highs near 80. Beautiful weather!
