Wednesday was a nice start to Fall! The first week of Fall is looking pretty good, with cooler weather coming our way this weekend and next week.
The Autumnal Equinox (beginning of Fall) was at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday morning, so welcome to Fall! The day started cool but warmed up to seasonably hot temperatures around the North State this afternoon. High pressure will briefly strengthen over the next couple of days, so we'll warm up just a little bit... then cool right back down this weekend and next week as low pressure in the north Pacific nudges closer to us, breaking high pressure down and moving it southward. Temperatures dip below average next week for some very nice Fall weather! We'll notice some high clouds occasionally... but no rain.
Sunday night, look for a total lunar eclipse! It will run roughly from 7pm to 9:30pm. Check it out!
