Coyote, New Mexico

More than 200 firefighters and support personnel are battling a wildfire, burning in the Jemez mountains, in northern New Mexico. Officials with the Santa Fe National Forest say fire managers are estimating the fire to be just under one square mile. Officials are expecting the lightning-sparked fire to grow as a result of the hot and dry conditions. They say flames have reached private land.but it remains unknown if any structures are being threatened.
