When joining a dating app, you never really know who's on the other end. The new dating app Wyldfire is aimed at "ditching the creeps," by putting women in control. Their North State launch is starting with the Chico State campus.
The app is living up to its motto to "ditch the creeps" by bringing exclusivity to the online dating world.
On Wyldfire, women choose the network. Guys can only get on by getting an invite from a woman... essentially getting pre-approved.
With users joining with their Facebook accounts and linking to their Instagram, you can get a better idea if you want to match with that person as opposed to just swiping left or right based on looks. Once you get a match... you have 20 messages to move that online match offline.
Competing app Tinder is an open network meaning anyone can join.
Wednesdays at 10 through November they're sponsoring Trike Races at the bear, offering fun prizes and drink specials.
To download the app, visit the Wyldfire Website.
