A new space in Redding is giving professionals an alternative to setting up their offices at the local coffee shop.
Redding CoWorking's mission is to provide a shared work environment for like-minded entrepreneurs.
Bob Batesole, who co-found the space with his wife, says that it's easier to get inspiration when collaborating with others.
"I was one of those people who liked working by myself at home, and I didn't realize that I was robbing myself of being with other people and getting ideas from them, from what they said," Batesole said.
"Everybody's working on different projects, but being able to talk to someone and ask questions about a particular piece of technology really helps you get to a solution faster," said Eddy Martinez, who works out of the space.
Redding CoWorking will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, January 22, from 5-7 p.m.
