A new exhibit opens at the Chico Museum on Saturday, February 27th.
"Chico Through Time" brings back Chico's historic Chinese Temple built in the 1880s.
You will also see a historical look at Chico City Schools, complete with the recreation of an elementary classroom as it would have looked one hundred years ago.
And of course a community favorite ... a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the 1938 movie "Robin Hood".
The exhibit also features a display of old police and fire department equipment , medical instruments used by Dr. N. T. Enloe and his medical staff at Enloe Hospital, and a wide variety of historic Chico photographs.
Guest Curator Diane Donoho says this is intended to be a permanent exhibit at the Chico Museum, although some aspects of it will be "switched out" over time.
You can see it for yourself during regular museum hours, Thursdays through Sundays, from 11 a.m. To 4 p.m.
