Murder Trial Resumes: Dissecting the Duenas 911 Call

Murder defendant Mark Duenas was visibly upset Tuesday morning as his frantic 911 call played out load in a Shasta County Superior Courtroom in the murder trial's third day.

The initial 9-1-1 call placed on May 5, 2012 by Mark Duenas was played for the jury. Prosecutors say Duenas told the dispatcher, "I killed my wife .. shit."

The defense claims Duenas said, "I found my wife sick."

While the frantic 911 call played out load in the court this morning, Duenas was visibly upset putting his hands over his face.

The 53-year-old father of five is accused of killing is wife Karen of 33 years at their cottonwood home.
