Temperatures cooled down a little today... and will cool down a lot this weekend! Look for mountain thunderstorms on Saturday, with a slight chance of one sneaking down into the Valley.
A Pacific storm is approaching, and that cooled us down a little bit today. Low pressure will slide into Oregon and far northern California tomorrow, bringing in much cooler weather for the weekend. Look for Valley highs in the 70's and mountain highs in the 60's! This will also spark mountain thunderstorms on Saturday, and there's a slight chance one of those could sneak down into the Valley Saturday afternoon/early evening. Sunday might see a few afternoon thunderstorms develop in the Sierra Nevada, but nowhere else.
The storm moves east by Monday, and high pressure quickly builds in behind it. Valley highs will soar back to near 90 by Tuesday, although long range models continue to bring another dry but cool storm in late next week and next weekend!
