NEW YORK (AP) - The Metropolitan Transportation Authority says a man killed by an oncoming subway train at a Bronx station had been pushed onto the tracks.
MTA spokeswoman Marisa Baldeo says it happened around 8:40 a.m. Sunday.
New York City Police say the man was in his 60s, and was hit by a southbound D train at the Grand Concourse and East 167th Street station.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the fatality and looking for a possible suspect.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
There have been three other incidents recent years that involved a person being pushed onto the tracks.
