Five animals were relocated to new homes in Turtle Bay's wildlife woods area Thursday.
The new exhibits were made possible through a donation from the Lutz family, who saw a need for improved, naturalistic habitats.
Sharon Clay, Curator of Animal Projects said "every time we develop an exhibit we look at what their natural needs are so for example, the barn owl likes to live in shelter so he has a little mini barn owl box that he can go to and feel tucked away in really well. The raccoon has a den, a stream, because they like to spend their life near water."
The first donated exhibit was for a fox, which opened almost a year ago. There is scheduled to be eight donated exhibits total, with three more set to be built in 2015.
